36th Greater Wellsville Annual Trout Derby

The 36th Greater Wellsville Annual Trout Derby will take place on April 25th and 26th this year.  Derby Headquarters will be in its traditional location, next to the Genesee River in Island Park. Once again, 450 tagged trout will be stocked in the river for our contestants to catch. Every tagged trout caught is worth prize money. Come and try your luck!

If you register before April 1st, the cost is $15. The registration fee is $20 after April 1st. You can register and pay your registration fee online on our Registration Page. In addition, tickets for the Saturday chicken BBQ and Community Fish raffle tickets can be purchased online on the Registration Page.

This event relies on sponsorships from businesses and individuals for its success. Sponsoring one or more fish is a way that you can help to guarantee that we reach our goals. Everyone at the event will see your name or the name of your business on the huge Fish Board at Derby Headquarters and know that you were instrumental in the success of this most important Lions Club event.
