There will be 450 tagged fish available for the fishermen to catch for cash prizes. The Lions Club relies on community support for those cash prizes. Businesses and individuals pledge specific amounts of cash for a fish or a number of fish. The amount that they pledge is then assigned, in their name, to the number of fish they committed to sponsor. Donors can select specific tag numbers on the fish that they purchase. If those tag numbers are available, they will be assigned as requested. The donor’s name or business name is then placed on the big fish board in Trout Derby Headquarters for all to see.

And, don’t forget, the Wellsville Lions Charities, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Any donations are tax-exempt.

To donate your sponsorship, fill out the Donor Form below and pay for the sponsored fish with a credit or debit card. If you fill out the donation form, it is not necessary to fill out the fish sponsor form. All the necessary information will be gathered during the donation checkout.

Simply select the amount that you wish to pay for the fish by clicking on the Add button next to the amount. If you wish to donate multiple fish for that amount on each one, just use the Add button until you have the amount of fish you wish to donate. If you would like specific fish tag numbers, or if you wish to have a dedication associated with your fish donation, there is an option to add that information. Dedications should be limited to about 20 characters in length. When you have completed your selections and added the necessary information, click the continue button at the bottom, and you will be taken to the checkout section.
